Princess Flickerfeather tagged me for this meme, so here goes.
A- Available or Single?
Neither.
B- Best Friend.
That would be my husband, wouldn’t it?
C- Cake or Pie.
Yes, and torte and chocolate mousse and creme brulee and don’t forget flan. Pudding is stupid, though.
D- Drink of Choice.
Ahhhh, coffee.
E- Essential Item.
The Bible. And coffee. And make-up, according to my 13 year old.
F- Favorite Color.
That electric purplish blue color. Wouldn’t it be cool if the trees and grass were all that color, instead of green? Well, okay, maybe just for a day.
G- Gummi Bears or Worms.
They’re worthless, give me a truffle.
H- Hometown.
I was born in Winnebago, MN. See, I’m just a small town girl.
I- Indulgence.
C and D together. Plus detective novels, especially ones set in England.
J- January or February.
Ugh! Why do I live here?
K- Kids.
I wanted none, but God, in His mercy, saw fit to give me two and I would be devastated without them.
L- Life is incomplete without…
The Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Did I surprise anyone with that? (Stolen word for word from Benny.)

That’s October 10, 1987. Yep, it’s 20 years, this year.
N- Number of Siblings?
Three brothers and two sisters. I’m the cutest.
O- Oranges or Apples?
I love them all, but watermelon is my fav.
P- Phobias/Fears.
Some fear of man, which God is at work in me to overcome. But clowns creep me out.
Q- Favorite Quote.
I have about two million favorite quotes, but I’ll only bore you with a dozen or so:
“I can’t carry a tune, I can’t even drag it across the floor.” – Unknown
“Our problem is not that there isn’t a common moral ground, but that we would rather stand somewhere else.” – from the book, What We Can’t Not Know, by J. Budziszewski.
The following are from the book, Witness, by Whitaker Chambers:
- “In the last instance, men must act on what they believe right, not what they believe probable.”
- “Men who could not see that what they firmly believed was liberalism added up to socialism could scarcely be expected to see what added up to communism.”
- “The God it worships is what a nation is, and how he worships Him defines what a man is.”
” ‘God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life’ has been substituted for ‘God claims you, and has placed you under an eternal bond, which you have broken.'” – from Tithing and the Church by Gary North
“The trouble with not doing anything is you don’t know when you’re done.” – Unknown
R- Reasons to smile.
God had no reason to do so, but He chose me.
S- Season(ing).
Cumin and cilantro. Oh, and curry.
T- Tag Three.
Ummm, how about two? Gabrielle Eden and Mocha Momma.
U- Unknown Fact About Me.
You think I’d tell you? How about an Unbelievable Fact? No one believes that I’m actually a biker chick.
V– Vegetarian or Oppressor of Animals.
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, why are they made out of meat?
W- Worst Habit.
I chew on the inside of my lip. When I’m nervous, when I’m not nervous, when I’m reading, when I’m driving, but not when I’m sleeping. At least I don’t think so. I want to stop.
X– X-rays or Ultrasounds.
I had an ultrasound once. It showed a tiny baby. I was not amused. But now that she’s 18, I’m very amused.
Y- Your Favorite Foods.
Indian.
Z- Zodiac.
How about Z for Zoo instead? I like the monkeys.
