I want you to know that I finished today’s NYT crossword puzzle in about 50 minutes; although I didn’t use a pen. But my pencil was mechanical!

Whoa. I’m in part awe. The other part I’m not so sure about.
Nice job. Keep at it. The more you do them, the more you’ll be able to tackle the harder and more challenging ones. You’ll get hooked though—next thing you know, you’ll be doing them during Ben’s sermons; but everyone will think you’re taking notes.
