So which is it?
What I thought was odd was that the headline said the “Government orders…” but the story said the government announced a “voluntary recall”. Of course, it’s not the government that manufactured the high chairs (at least, I don’t think it’s taken over the struggling high chair industry yet). I wonder how “voluntary” the recall was. Perhaps about as voluntary as our income taxes…or our healthcare insurance purchases…
I’m all for consumer protections, but as we see more and more and more government control of private industry we slide farther and farther away from capitalism and closer and closer to…
