“In the world it is called tolerance
but in hell it is called despair.
The sin that believes in nothing,
cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing,
enjoys nothing, finds purpose in nothing,
lives for nothing
but remains alive because there is
nothing which it would die for.”
~Dorothy Sayers
Good one, MD.
I was going to say almost the same as Dan S. Good stuff, MD!
One of my favorite authors…
Intersting. Took me awhile to adapt to it, but it’s true. I guess my thought would be, they cares for things, they seek to know things, enjoy things, find purpose in things, and live for things, but in the end it is nothing. It goes along with where your treasure is, so is your heart.
I like it!
I knew there was a reason I picked you to be my 2nd wife!
Outstanding quote, outstanding author.
