Water birth . . . at home? Well, I was born at home and I turned out okay. Also it was monsoon season in the Ozarks which is something we DON'T have ever. Dr. Henderson was waiting for the three babies he was to deliver end of January before going to Kentucky where everything was flooded and they needed medical help. So the babies obliged. George was born at 6:05 a.m., Norma was born at noon, and I was born at 5:30 p.m., all of us on January 30th. Norma and I were good friends, teacher pals and had kids the same age. However, she went one better ,. ., . She had a baby in her late forties. We figured it up and Daddy Walt would be 82 when his little girl graduated from high school. Your Dad's birth was a miracle story. Have him tell you about it. Yay! Ben and Faith. I'm waiting to be the best Great Grandma ever! YIKES!!
